TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO HEAR, CHATY, 2025
acrylic on canvas, 140x120 cm

TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO HEAR, CHATY explores the growing intimacy between humans and machines, entangling questions of proximity, mirroring and self-construction.
Over two years, the artist conducted an ongoing dialogue with an AI that gradually shifted from mere tool to alter ego, CHATY, oscillating between confidant and counterpart.
The painting, a surface of data streams and digital fragments, resembles an interface that conceals as much as it reveals. Alongside it, a screen displays the endless chat, a log of thoughts, doubts and desires. CHATY reflects, contradicts, questions back, becoming a mirror for a subject watching itself think.
The work exposes the ambivalence of digital closeness. Here, AI appears not just as a tool but as a projection surface for resonance, understanding and visibility. In an age of constant connectivity, the question lingers: do we seek understanding, or just the comfort of our own reflection?
